Hello there and welcome to Sigars.com. The cigar industry is an online marketplace for premium small-batch cigars delivered right to your door. My name’s Ian Lenhart. I’m based in Miami, Florida, and I just really enjoy a nice stage. And if you’re watching this, I’m assuming you do too. Like all hobbies, we all started off as noobs.
And I remember when I walked into the tobacco shop and walked into the humidor and I looked around and I just thought, wow; there are so many shades of brown and it smells fantastic. But at the same time, I’m thinking well, okay these all look the same. So what’s the difference? I was lost just a young boy, not quite a man, just looking for the perfect stage.
And I wish I could tell you that the perfect stage was found. But it didn’t. I just enjoyed all of that. What I enjoyed, wasn’t just the smoke or the nice mellow lightheaded high I got. It was the conversations I had while smoking.
Let me explain. You see, in today’s world, I feel like we’re all just a bunch of ADHD maniacs running around, just looking for our next serotonin rush. We’re just constantly getting bombarded by notifications and dings on our phones, letting us know that, oh, the photo you just posted, was just liked by some old man in India with no pictures and a strange bio. Sick. Oh yeah. And don’t get me wrong. I love technology. Alexa, turn the office lights green. Yeah.
I just think it’s rare to have an authentic, genuine long-form conversation with someone else. And quite frankly, I crave that to me. A cigar is a commitment of your time. It’s like flipping an hourglass and while the cigar is burning, the human connection is flowing. Good ideas. Great. Fantastic conversation and maybe a nice glass of whiskey.
It’s just such a vibe and it needs to be explored further.
